The vineyard at the foot of Ventoux

The Ribes du Vallat so called because the plots are distributed on the slopes (the “ribes” in Provençal) which border the ditch (the “vallat” in Provençal) which crosses the Jouvenal castle, establishing a link between the lands of the two families . In the spring, the painters, fascinated by the perspectives and the multiple tones of green color, like to put their easels there. It is a terroir at the bottom of the hill, very well exposed and very well drained, nestled in a setting of pines, Provence cypresses, holm oaks, scrubland and olive trees. The Ribes du Vallat consist of a white, a rosé and a red.
