Château Juvenal

An ideal location to discover the Vaucluse at the foot of MONT VENTOUX

Château Juvenal is a residence composed of a Provençal bastide and a completely renovated former farmhouse. It welcomes its guests in a prestigious setting at the heart of a remarkable park. Its authentic Napoleonic character, reflected in its beautiful pale stone façade and high windows, its rooms which have kept their authenticity without sacrificing comfort, and the charm of its remarkable park would be nothing without the conviviality that brings it to life during the high season—which here in Provence stretches from Easter to All Saints' Day. The estate features five comfortable rooms and three holiday rentals (classified as 4-star furnished tourist accommodation), a swimming pool, a wellness area with a hammam and a massage room (where professional massages can be arranged), and a summer kitchen. Château Juvenal is also a wine estate producing organic wines distributed worldwide, as well as organic AOP olive oil made using ancestral methods.

The château is ideally situated for discovering the Avignon Festival, the Chorégies d’Orange, the archaeological site of Vaison-la-Romaine, or the antique shops of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Located at the foot of the legendary Mont Ventoux, Château Juvenal naturally welcomes many cyclists. For bike lovers, we provide access to the old stables, which are locked, so you can store your bikes in complete safety.

The Park

Century-old trees

The park extends around the château with its century-old trees, flowering borders, and shaded paths that naturally invite you for a stroll. It is listed as one of the three remarkable 19th-century parks in the Vaucluse, marking the transition from French-style formal gardens to romantic parks. Seven trees are protected and officially registered. Since 2026, we have been replacing trees affected by climate change by planting species selected for their beauty, resilience, and contribution to the balance of the park's ecosystem.

The Summer Kitchen

For independent cooking

In the heart of the park, near the pool, a former pavilion has been entirely redesigned as a summer kitchen to offer an alternative to restaurants. Equipped with induction hobs, an oven, and a fridge, you will find everything you need to prepare your lunches and dinners independently and enjoy them outdoors under the park's trees.

The Dining Room

For breakfasts and other indoor meals

The château’s dining room hosts breakfast every morning in a warm and elegant atmosphere. Bathed in light and overlooking the park, it offers a peaceful setting to start the day. We serve a full breakfast, both sweet and savory, made with fresh, local, and organic products, which you can enjoy at a large communal table or in the garden on the vineyard side.

The Lounges

For music, reading, or other entertainment

The château has two lounges open to everyone, with views of the park. They are furnished with comfortable armchairs so you can read in peace or browse through our excursion ideas and restaurant recommendations. You are also welcome to share your musical talents by playing the piano.

Respect for the Environment

A sustainable destination in the heart of nature

Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and forests, the Château lives in harmony with its environment. Aware of the richness of this biodiversity, we have chosen to preserve this unique setting by adopting practices that respect the environment and those who live in it.

Our actions:

Organic Agriculture & Short Supply Chains: Following our organic vineyard practices, we prioritize local supply chains and select local producers who share our commitment to quality and nature. We are part of an AMAP (local farming association).

Green Energy: Our water comes from a natural spring located further up the land. On sunny days, the Château runs on renewable energy produced by our photovoltaic shade structures.

Biodiversity Protection: As active members of a local forest protection association, we work daily to maintain a balance between traditions and a responsible future.
