PREAMBLE

Château Juvenal offers accommodation services in guest rooms (B&B) and self-catering cottages (gîtes). These terms and conditions define the booking, cancellation, and stay procedures to ensure the comfort of our guests and the long-term management of our estate.

ARTICLE 1 – RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS

1.1 Confirmation

A reservation is considered firm and final only upon receipt of the deposit.

1.2 Deposit Amount

Guest Rooms (B&B): 30% of the total stay.

Cottages (Gîtes) / Apartments: 40% of the total stay.

1.3 Validation

The payment of a deposit implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

ARTICLE 2 – RATES AND PAYMENT

2.1 Pricing

Rates vary based on seasonality and length of stay. Prices are inclusive of all taxes, excluding the local tourist tax (taxe de séjour). Château Juvenal reserves the right to correct any obvious pricing errors on its website. In the event of a manifest error, the reservation may be cancelled or the price adjusted with the guest's consent.

2.2 Included Services

Guest Rooms: Daily housekeeping and breakfast are included.

Cottages: Weekly housekeeping is included for stays exceeding 7 days. Breakfast is available as an option (€20 per adult, half-price for children under 12).

2.3 Settlement

The balance of the stay, along with any additional services (Guest Table, massages, etc.), must be settled on-site the day before your departure.

2.4 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) for online payments, bank transfers, French checks, and cash.

ARTICLE 3 – CANCELLATIONS AND SHORTENED STAYS

3.1 Cancellation by the Guest

More than 30 days before arrival: The deposit will be fully refunded.

Less than 30 days before arrival: The deposit is retained by the estate and is non-refundable.

3.2 No-show and Early Departure

In the event of a no-show or a shortened stay, the full amount of the original reservation remains due.

3.3 Cancellation by the Owner

In the event of force majeure requiring us to cancel your stay, all payments will be fully refunded.

ARTICLE 4 – ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

4.1 Check-in

Guests are welcome from 4:00 PM. Please notify us in advance of any late arrivals (after 7:00 PM).

4.2 Check-out

To allow us to prepare for incoming guests, we kindly ask that you vacate your room or cottage by 11:00 AM.

ARTICLE 5 – HOUSE RULES AND LIABILITY

5.1 Capacity

Occupancy is strictly limited to the capacity of the reserved accommodation. Château Juvenal reserves the right to refuse any additional guests.

5.2 Pets

For the comfort and safety of all guests (allergies and hygiene), pets are not permitted. Our two resident cats are on-site but are not allowed in the guest rooms or apartments.

5.3 Smoking Policy

All indoor areas are strictly non-smoking.

5.4 Peace and Quiet

Guests are asked to respect the tranquility of the estate. Excessive noise may lead to the immediate termination of the stay without a refund.

5.5 Damage

Any damage to furniture, equipment, or linens caused by a guest will be invoiced at the full replacement or restoration cost.

ARTICLE 6 – COMMON AREAS AND SAFETY

6.1 Pool and Hammam

These facilities are used at the guests' own risk. The swimming pool is not supervised.

6.2 Safety of Minors

Children must be under the constant supervision of their parents or guardians at all times. Access to the hammam is prohibited for unaccompanied minors.

6.3 Summer Kitchen

Provided as a courtesy, the kitchen must be left clean after each use.

ARTICLE 7 – GUEST TABLE (TABLE D’HÔTES)

Dinner is offered on Wednesday evenings by prior reservation (minimum 48 hours notice). The price of €54 (including drinks) will be charged for any cancellation made less than 24 hours before the meal.

ARTICLE 8 – DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)

Personal information collected during booking is strictly used for managing your stay. In accordance with the law, you have the right to access and rectify your data upon request.

ARTICLE 9 – DISPUTES AND MEDIATION

In the event of a dispute, we prioritize amicable solutions. Failing that, and in accordance with the French Consumer Code, you may contact the relevant consumer mediator.
